Helen Herbert FRPS, EFIAP, EPSA
My interest in photography commenced in 1979, then over a number of years used a variety of film cameras, and commenced to process my own work.

My favourite medium was Monochrome which allowed me to interpret atmosphere and mood. As I was particularly interested in landscapes I frequently roamed the Cumbrian countryside to try to capture the beauty of the Lakes and Fells

I have gained various awards and my work has been featured in magazines and International Exhibitions.

In 1987 I was awarded POY (Photographer of the Year) by the then leading SLR Photography magazine and in 1991 gained a Fellowship with the Royal Photographic Society.

Due to the number of acceptances gained in International Exhibitions affiliated to the Federation Internationale de l'Art Photographique and Photographic Society of America I have been accredited the distinctions EFIAP and EPSA.
